The Advanced Search is a tool you can perform any search spanning on every level of the campaign, adgroup, ad and keywords. Changes can also be applied based on search results; such as copy, modify, and delete on all levels.
The elements that can be searched are:
Campaigns
Adgroups
Ads
Keywords
You can access the Advanced Search from the main tab or from the magnifying glass icon in the grid.
The Advanced Search for ads composed of 3 main steps:
1. Search Type
Check the Ads in the Search Type
2.Filter Parameters
Here you can select one or multiple campaigns / adgroups you want the tool to search in.
You also can use the "Free Search" for campaigns/ad groups with specific name and status.
When searching for ad elements you will be able to filter parameters according to:
A string of characters in any of the ad’s lines.
Selected ad status.
Tracking ID – Buntai’s tracking ID of the creative
You can also filter according to the following performance parameters: Impressions, CTR, Cost, CPC, ROI, Conversion Rate, Clicks, Conversions, Cost/Conv, Avg. Pos and Revenue.
You can set the performance parameters to be either: Equals to, Greater than, Less than and between a certain value.
Note! When you don’t filter the performance, the performance data will not appear in the search results. Therefore, if you wish to see the performance, you need to check the “show performance data”.
3.Change Type
Now you need to choose the operation you want to perform and hit the "Go" button.
Search- show the search results with no change.
Modify- Replace string in all or some of ads elements, change/add landing URL or append strings (parameters) to existing URL, set display URL. You can also assign a whole new string to the different elements of the ad.
Copy- Copy searched ads to a specified profile, campaign and ad group. You can select a campaign and ad group from a list or create new ones.
Move- Move searched ads to a specified profile, campaign and ad group. Here you can select a campaign and ad group from a list or create new ones as well.
Delete- Remove the selected search results.
Pause- Pause the selected search results.
Approve- Activate selected search results. When approving an ad, it will be considered to be a new ad therefore; its performance data is lost.
The Advanced Search for keywords composed of 3 main steps:

When searching for keyword elements you will be able to filter according to:
A. Filter according to a string of characters included/excluded in the keyword. Enter one keyword per line.
B. Filter according to selected keyword status or keyword match type.
C. According to keyword landing URL string – exact match/exclude/has land/no land.
D. Words count – number of words in the phrase.
E. Range of bid values.
F. Tracking ID – Buntai’s tracking ID of the keyword.

3.Change Type
Now you need to choose the operation you want to perform and hit the "Go" button.

Copy- Copy searched keywords to a specified profile, campaign and ad group. You can select a campaign and ad group from a list or create new ones.
Move- Move the search result and delete it from its original location.
You have 2 ways you can copy, move or delete an adgroup or keywords:
1. Go to the Advanced Search tab --> select the element --> select the filters --> select the desired operation --> press the "Go" button.
2. The same operations that are performed on search results can be performed on user selected elements. Select the element and press the magnifying glass icon. Then you will be redirected to the Operations section in the Advanced Search. For example: I want to move the adgroup "1 [2009/01/27]" from one campaign to another. First I will select the adgroup and then I will press the magnifying glass icon.
I will be redirected to the Operations section in the Advanced Search which will allow me to choose the operation type I want to use.Since I want to move this adgroup from one location to another I will check the "Move" operation and the location I want to move it to.
1. Search Definition: After selecting the element you want to find or change and clicking the "Go" button you will be taken to a "Preview" page.
2. Preview: In this page you will see the search results and the desired change. You can accept all the changes by pressing "Accept All". If you wish to apply the changes only on selected elements, select the elements you want to change and press the "Accept Selected" button.
3. Changed: Here you will see the log of the action made, the hour process started, if problems occured, hour process finished etc.
Yes you can. Often you'll find it really helpful to save your advanced search settings. After performing a search, you can save the search setting by entering a name for “Save search parameters as” in the "Preview" page and pressing the "save" button.
To load a saved template you need to eneter the Advanced Search Tool tab, select the template you want from the dropdown menu and press the load button.
The Advanced Search can be used as a customized bid policy tool as well. You can use the Advanced Search to create your own bid policies. To do this you must set the desired parameters in the Advance Search and then save them as a template. When you wish to run that policy, all you need to do is load your saved template, run it and apply the results.
Let's say you performed a search and you've found all the elements you were looking for. Now you want to change some of them. That's the way to do that:
You can modify selected search results on the Advanced Search’s Preview page. By pressing the “Modify current results” link.
A pane will be opened where you can choose the change type and operation.
After you defined the changes you want to do you just press the "Apply to Selected" button.
Then you will see the the column with the new parameter you changed. Press the "Accept Changes" to accept it.
You can copy an ad to as many adgroups as you need.
Choose the ad you wish to copy and click the magnifying glass icon.
Choose the operation "Copy", the campaign name and the adgroups. (To choose more than 1 adgroup you need to hold the "Ctrl" button in your keyword while clicking the other adgroups). Click The "Start" button.
The next screen will be the Preview screen in which you can approve the action by clicking the "Copy All" or "Copy Selected" button.
