Q. Where do I start?

    The first thing to do as a first time user is creating a profile. You can create a new profile either from scratch or by downloading existing account.

Q. How do I download my account to Buntai?

    After you logged in to your Buntai's account you need to press the "Add" button in the dashboard.

    Then you will be taken to a "New Profile Wizard".

    Choose the option "Import an existing account(s) from search engine(s).

    Now you need to set each channel’s API and account parameters in order for BUNTAI SEARCH to communicate with the channels (Search Engines). Default API parameters are already set.

    If you have several accounts in Google, Yahoo or MSN, you can include them all in this profile by checking the box next to the search engine and then click the "Edit Parameters" link, fill your account's parameters and click the "Add" button. When you are done filling all your wanted account's parameters click the "Next" button.

    Buntai will start to import your account(s). When it's done you need to press the "Next" button.

    The "General" tab is a general information about your profile. There you enter the relevant information of your website such as URL, profile name, contact information and landing URL.

    Now you can set the Geo & Langs. These settings are used as the default settings when creating campaigns under this profile and they can be changed at any time after the profile has been created.

    Choose the country and the language you wish, click the "Add" button to add them and then the "Next" button.

    The next step is to set the budget. Here you can set the daily or monthly budget, default search and content bids and esimated revenue per conversion. Whenyou are done click the "Next" button.

    At this stage you must define the settings for the BUNTAI SEARCH tracking pixel if you wish to use it (see Tracking section in FAQs or the user guide). The tracking code must be placed on the pages in which a conversion will occur. Select your page type (http/https) and code type (JavaScript/html) and then copy the tracking pixel to the clipboard to place into your source code.

    If you wish to integrate this profile with an affiliate network you need to check the "Integrate this profile with a 3rd party" box and click the "Next" button. Otherwise click the "Finish" button.

    In case you chose to integrate the profile with a 3rd party you will be taken to a screen which you can choose the desired network. After choosing you need to fill your account's information and click the "Finish" button.

    Then you will see your profile created by Buntai.

Q. How do I create a new profile?

    The way tp create a new profile from scratch is this:

    1. Click the "Add" button in your dashboard of all your profiles.

    2. Click the "Create new profile" link.

    3. Insert your URL and press the “Fetch” button. The "Fetch" button takes the relevant information from your website.

    4.Channel(s).

    This step of the wizard asks you for the information needed to log into the selected Search Engines. All of the information can be received from a Search Engine when an account is created with them.

    If you have several accounts in Google, Yahoo or MSN, you can include them all in this profile by checking the box next to the search engine and then click the "Edit Parameters" link, fill your account's parameters and click the "Add" button. When you are done filling all your wanted account's parameters click the "Next" button.

    6. Create ads.

    BUNTAI SEARCH requires that at least two ads must be created in order to start a campaign; it will not allow you to advance in the wizard if only one ad has been created. By clicking on the Ad Preview you can edit the text of the ads.

    Note! you can add and edit a new ad by clicking one of the competitors ads.

    7. Budget.

    You can set the currency for the profile level. The currency can not be changed after the profile created. If the accounts in the Search Engines have different currencies, then the one set in BUNTAI SEARCH will be applied automatically based on a daily updated currency conversion. set the daily or monthly budget, default search and content bids and esimated revenue per conversion. When you are done click the "Next" button.

    8. Tracking.

    Choose the 3rd party you wish to inegrate your profile with, enter your account's parameters and click the "Finish" button.

Q. Where can I change the profile settings after creating a new profile?

    Drill down the profile from the Dashboard and press the "Profile Settings" tab.

    In this tab you can see the basic data of your account and all the settings you set while creating your profile.

Q. Where can I change my campaign settings?

    Campaign settings can be edited at any time selecting them in the grid and pressing the "Edit" button. You can only edit one campaign at a time.

    You can use the edit icon next to the budget, to edit the budget of selected campaigns.

Q. What's the different between "Upload" and "Download"?

    Upload- When you make changes in your Buntai account and you want to update the search engine you use the "Upload" button.

    BUNTAI SEARCH uploads campaigns, adgroups, ads, keywords in status “Approved”, “To Delete” and “To Pause”.

    "Approved"- Any changes made to a campaign, adgroup, ads or keywords in BUNTAI SEARCH change its status to "Approved". During "upload" these changes are updated in the Search Engine and the status of these changes in the campaign becomes "Active".

    "To Delete"- When deleting a campaign, adgroup, ads or keywords in BUNTAI SEARCH, it changes its status to "To Delete". After "upload" to the Search Engine the status is changed to "Deleted".

    "To Pause"- When pausing a campaign, adgroup, ads or keywords in BUNTAI SEARCH, the status is changes "To Pause". After "upload" to the Search Engine the status is changed to "Paused".

    After selecting the campaign you want to upload click the "Upload" button. A new window will pop up.

    Choose the lowest level to start upload from- adgroups, ads or keywords. Click the "Save Changes" button and then the "Start Upload" button.

    Download- when you want to download campaigns from your search engine's account to your Buntai account you use the "Download".

    You can choose whether to download new campaigns and from which Search Engine. When downloading, BUNTAI SEARCH deletes the existing campaign and recreates it from scratch to mirror the data in the Search Engine; therefore data that was not uploaded to the Search Engine will be deleted.

    In case you want to download campaigns from your account to Buntai you need to click the "Download" button. A new window will pop up.

    here are the parameters you need to set before download:

    "Get new campaigns from="- Select the Search Engines for which new campaigns will be downloaded.

    "Download non-active campaigns="- If “false” then non-active campaigns (e.g. deleted, paused) are not downloaded.

    The next step is to save the changes by clicking the "Save Changes" button and then "Start Download".

Q. How can I add a new campaign?

    Adding a new campaign is a simple process that begins with the “Add” button on the Campaigns overview screen.

    After clicking the "Add" button you will be taken to 5 steps wizard:

    1. General information- campaign name and channel.

    2. Campaign settings- default landing page, default display URL, tracking (see Tracking section in FAQs or use the user guide) and networks (content, search, search networks).

    3. Geo & Langs- choose the targeted geo and languages.

    5. Approve & Save- summary of the new campaign settings before saving. If it's all set click the "Finish" button and your new campaign will be created.

Q. How can I add a new adgroup?

    To add a new ad group to a campaign, press the "Add" button while viewing the campaign overview page.

    The next thing is to name the adgroup and set its bids. Clicking the "Save Changes" will create the adgroup.

Q. Where can I edit my adgroup settings?

    Ad group settings can be edited at any time by selecting them in the grid and pressing the Edit button.

    In the next screen you can edit your adgroup name and bids. When you are done click the "Save Changes" button.

    You can edit multiple ad groups bids by selecting the required adgroups, press the edit icon (next to the bid) ,insert the bid and press enter. The bid will apply to all selected adgroups.

Q. How can I add keywords to my campaigns?

    Press on an ad group to get to the Keywords Overview page. Then click the "(+)Quick Add" button. This will reveal a box to enter keywords. Keywords must be entered on separate lines with only one keyword per line.

    Keywords will be added upon pressing the "Save" button.

    Duplicate keywords cannot be created unless they have different match types. If a keyword is added and it already exists in the campaign, BUNTAI SEARCH will not add the additional one. However, you can check the checkbox to move keywords to the ad group and delete it from its old location in the campaign.

    The second option to add keywords is from the Keyword Tool (see Keyword Tool section in this FAQs or use the user guide).

    Note! • In Google ad groups, a keyword’s match type can be broad, phrase and exact and each will produce different performance data.
    • In Yahoo ad groups, a keyword match type can be either broad or exact but never both. If you wish to have both match types you should add the keywords to two different ad groups.
    • In MSN ad groups, a keyword can be broad, phrase and exact but MSN shows the performance details on one keyword instance. In BUNTAI SEARCH you can see it separately for each match type.

Q. How can I add an ad?

    To access the Ads Overview you must drill down an ad group and then click on the Ad sub tab.

    When you did it click the "Add" button to add a new ad.

    When adding an ad, BUNTAI Search will automatically show the current information of the active Ads in the ad group. To insert the information simply type over it in the entry boxes, or click on another ad in the ad group to create a new Ad based on its text. When finished editing, the Save as New button will add the Ad to the ad group in Approved status.

Q. How can I edit an ad?

    Drill down an adgroup and click the "Ads" sub tab to access the ads.

    select the ad(s) and press the "Edit" button. At the Ad level you can select and edit multiple Ads at the same time.

    When multiple Ads are selected for editing, they will show up in the bottom of the edit screen. Simply click on an ad to edit it and press the "Save Changes" button to save your changes.

    Note! When ad text exceeds the set limit for a Search Engine, BUNTAI Search will not allow the ad to be saved as it will be rejected by the Search Engine upon upload.

Q. What does it mean "Invalid ads"?

    When you modify Ads via the Advanced Search tool or copy ads from a campaign in one search engine to another, it sometimes results in invalid Ads. These Ads’ status is Disapproved, they are marked in red and the reason of invalidation is written at the bottom of the Ads.

Q. What are the ad's statuses?

    There are 9 ads statuses:

    • Approved- Any changes made to the Ad in BUNTAI Search change its status to Approved. During Upload these changes are updated in the Search Engine and change the status of the Ad to Active.

    • Active- Active Ads in the Search Engine are Active in BUNTAI Search

    • Inactive- Inactive Ads in the Search Engine are Inactive in BUNTAI Search

    • Delete- Deleted Ads in the Search Engine are Deleted in BUNTAI Search

    • Pause- Paused Ads in the Search Engine are Paused in BUNTAI Search. You cannot pause MSN Ad due to MSN limitations.

    • To Delete- When deleting an ad in BUNTAI Search, it changes its status to To Delete. After Upload to the Search Engine the status is changed to Deleted.

    • To Pause- When pausing an ad in BUNTAI Search, it changes its status to To Pause. After Upload to the Search Engine the status is changed to Paused.

    • Disapproved- When an ad is invalid then its status is changed to Disapproved.

    • Competitor- When getting competitor’s Ads using the “suggest” their status is “Competitor”.
